Laurel and I pose with RD Carol Meader after the race atop Beautiful Hackers Hill in Casco, Maine. Awards were on the summit and winners were awarded homemade pies…yum! There were a lot of other prizes that were given out by random draw. A very nice race indeed! Thanks to Carol and the MANY volunteers for a fun time!!!
Laurel placed 3rd in her age group here and earned 55.91 points for a two race total of 111.31 points. She is quite excited about the 3rd race, the Race to the Top of Vermont that takes place on Sunday, August 25th on the Famous Mount Mansfield Toll Road in Stowe, Vermont. It is 4.3 miles in length rising 2,564’ from a starting elevation of 1,279’ up to 3.843’. For info and to register go to http://www.rtttovt.com/  Go to the bottom of the blog to see the other races in the series.
