29th Prospect Mountain Road Race
5th series, race #3
Congratulations to Alexander Benway and Jamie Woolsey on their wins! Also to the Adirondack Runners and all the amazing volunteers and sponsors for another great race, awards n eats! Next year will be the 30th running of this fine race n already looking forward to it!
What great running weather! Mid 40’s n great views from the summit! Next up is the Ascutney Mountain Run on Saturday, June 9th @ 10am. https://www.racemenu.com/events/155425-Ascutney-Mountain-Run-2018  One week later will be the final race for the 5th series, the grandaddy of ‘em all…the Mount Washington Road Race!
It’s not to early to start thinking about the 6th series that once again will kick off with the Race to the Top of Vermont in Stowe, VT on Sunday, August 26th  http://www.rtttovt.com/
A big change for the 6th series will be to qualify for a lottery by-pass into the 2020 Mount Washington Road Race you must complete 4 of the 5 races! As in the past the 1st 30 runners to send in the 2 checks, or on line, and notify me will be the ones that will be eligible for the by-passes! From 31 on you will be on a waiting list and will move up if someone ahead of you doesn’t complete 4 races. Thanks so much to the Mount Washington Road Race for allowing me to grant these by-passes!!!
Hope everyone is doing well n the folks that missed Prospect can make it to Ascutney!
Please let me know of any errors, as I do everything the old fashion way by hand n with a calculator n have been known to make a mistake occasionally 😊

The large parking area a short ways below the summit

Lots of great food back at the Forum where awards were also given out
